Homeward, as the name suggests, is a journey toward finding what home means to you.

Lucky are those who are able to carve out their space in this world and live a meaningful life.

Collection Homeward is an ode to just that. It is a piece of me I cherish, a reflection of all that makes me who I am and a celebration of finding home.

Gardens in the terrace,

Laughter in the stairwells,

And Mother's cherished embrace.

This collection imbues the serenity of my home with every design choice such as the use of specific plant-based fabrics, natural dyes, and embroidery concept.

Sheltered, nurtured and inspired by women in every aspect of my life, I naturally seeked to work with women. Luckily, I found the perfect community of women from Himachal Pradesh, who helped develop the fabrics that birthed Homeward

The concept of Saori weaving resonated with my design philosophy and was stuck in the back of my mind. It emphasizes embracing imperfections, creative spontaneity and, self-discovery in the meditative weaving process.

In the developmental phase, I decided to incorporate its principle with freehand-machine embroidery. Centered around a collaborative community spirit, I would like my artisans/ people who make my clothes to be involved in the creative process as well and not be made to feel like machines who replicate designs.

The human touch goes hand in hand with the machine as a tool. There are no mistakes in the introspective and meditative expression of oneself at the moment.

No fixed designs. Each piece will be one of a kind.

In finding myself,

I found life,

I found home.
